On behalf of the heirs, we have made an inventory of all the items that were being used in both his 5 meter dome and a roll-of-roof-observatory. In this listing, we’ve done our best to give a description of the items and their value (both new and second-hand). But due to the sheer quantity and the lack of documentation there could be some minor errors :-(.

But more important: they stood in the observatories for quite a long time, so they’ve suffered a little form dust and humidity – but that had mainly an impact on their aesthetics – less so on the optics (dust caps stayed on!).

Telescopes

• 50cm truss-tube Newtonian (carbon trusses), f/4.5 – but f/3,3 thanks to focal reducer/corrector. On a super heavy-duty mount (MK – made by Michael Knopf). The telescope is made by Astro Optik Philipp Keller (now ASA-Astro Systeme Austria), optics from the renowned company Lomo (St-Petersburg). Sold !!
