Made by Lichtenknecker Optics in Hasselt (here in Belgium). A very sturdy and precise mount, comes with the MTS-3 electronics from German company Boxdörfer.
On top sits a dovetail-mount for the large Lichtenknecker-dovetails (we can include a few of these) – but one can easily replace it with the more common Losmandy-style fitting (I’ve done this myself on a similar mount here at the observatory).
Included are two robust metal telescope piers: one high (130cm) and one lower (95 cm). But if needed one can also purchase an extra heavy-duty wooden tripod (300 euros??), that can be extented from 115cm all the way up to 165cm (perfect for those lovers of classical long refractors!).
